Food Safety and Quality Policy
The food safety and quality policy of IQ Production B.V. is based on two European standards: ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 22000:2018. Our aim is certification according to FSSC 22000 + Quality.
In line with our mission and values, and with the goal of meeting the highest food safety and quality standards in the dietary supplements market we operate in, this policy is founded on the following principles:
- To be a reliable company for our stakeholders by meeting customer expectations regarding food safety and quality. This includes full compliance with applicable legislation and regulations (such as, but not limited to: Directive 2002/46/EC and Regulation (EC) No 1924/2006), and fostering transparency through efficient communication channels within the organization and with external stakeholders.
- To be a benchmark in Food Safety and Quality by applying best practices and innovative tools to manage both known and emerging food hazards.
- To deliver Competitive Quality (optimal price–quality ratio) as a fundamental commitment to our customers, employees, suppliers, and shareholders, while ensuring the company’s mission and independent decision-making.
- Within the framework of Food Defence, to possess and apply appropriate tools and processes that prevent intentional food contamination, in the same transparent manner as those used to protect against unintentional contamination. This knowledge is supported through training, awareness sessions, and clear, consistent, and transparent instructions.
- To prevent fraudulent and intentional substitution, dilution, or addition of products or raw materials, or misrepresentation of a product or material with the aim of financial gain, by increasing the apparent value of the product or reducing production costs.
- To promote our values regarding food safety. An organization with a strong food safety culture shows all stakeholders that producing safe products is a fundamental commitment.
To ensure compliance with these guidelines, our Food Safety and Quality Policy is based on the following principles:

To be a reliable company focused on meeting customer requirements and delivering superior products, with safety as a primary condition. - Regarding Human Resources:
Quality is a goal and responsibility shared by all members of the organization. This is achieved by promoting employee talent and performance, with the mission of being an innovative company in Food Safety and Quality Management, and encouraging ethical and responsible behavior at all organizational levels. - Management Standards Based on Action:
- Implementing tools to manage and anticipate potential challenges and risks;
- Ensuring process control and product safety (HACCP), continuous improvement, and effective communication channels that empower people as a means for efficient and rapid decision-making;
- Seizing improvement opportunities through ongoing cost control, particularly non-quality costs, and ensuring effective resource allocation.
- Stakeholder Relationships:
- Ensuring strict compliance with applicable laws and regulations and providing full cooperation with authorities;
- Sharing our Food Safety and Quality Policy with our suppliers and distribution partners, and involving them in our management system where possible;
- Monitoring markets through a world-class global network to enhance our competencies;
- Assuring shareholders of the continuity and autonomous decision-making of the company through food safety and quality standards that consider profitability a fundamental requirement.
This policy applies to all products, operations, and activities of IQ Production B.V. All primary stakeholders (internal and external) received a copy of this policy on March 22, 2023. It is also published on our website.
